At Elevate Learning & Behavior, we believe every school has the potential to create classrooms where students thrive and teachers feel supported. Founded by Matt Hicks, a school leader with a passion for helping educators succeed, and guided by Zach Sturgill, our VP of Services and Operations, we bring together expertise in education and behavioral health. Our mission is simple: to partner with schools by providing practical strategies, meaningful coaching, and evidence-based behavioral supports that make a lasting difference for students, teachers, and communities.
Zach Sturgill, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Zach is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children and young adults ages 2–21 across school, clinic, and home settings since 2020. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Marshall University and a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. His expertise includes functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing training and consultation to teachers, staff, and families. Zach is passionate about supporting schools and families in creating environments where students can learn, grow, and succeed.
